High School Semi-Final: Whitewater v Starrs Mill
All four semifinalists in the girls AAAAA playoffs were from the same region. Three Fayette County schools, Whitewater, Starrs Mill, McIntosh and one Coweta County school, Northgate. I went to the Whitewater/Starrs Mill game.
Starrs Mill scored first but Whitewater equalized just before half time, then added two more early in the second half to win 3-2.
I did not go to the other game, but coming from behind was the order of the day there as well. McIntosh scored in the second half to go up 1-0. With four minutes left Northgate equalized, then won it 2-1 in Extra Time. I proably could have made it over there for the tail end of the game, but went home instead, unfortunately.
Even more unfortunate is that I won't be able to make it to the final due to other committments.
